The challenge
Internal defects in silicon blocks require specialised imaging and consistent evaluation. The software must coordinate the inspection machine, present several measured faces and let specialists classify problematic regions without losing traceability.
Our contribution
Symmetrix created the BlockInspector software system for silicon-block test and measurement. The upgraded equipment combines infrared and laser-scanning methods. Its evaluation interface supports multi-face image review, region marking, defect classification, measurement metadata and CSV export.
